Given 79% (breakdown) while driving a Toyota celica st (205-55-15-V).
Driving on a combination of roads for 6,000 spirited miles
"I'm very impressed with these budget tyres. Anyone who complains about poor grip in the wet should remember that they are, of course, budget tyres! A set of 4 fully fitted tyres cost me 209 last April compared to 400+ for name brand tyres. In 7 months they have hardly worn at all and still look like new. Ok, so they aren't the best in the wet, but at 52 each compared to 100+ they are cheap tyres and great value for money, and I would gladly buy them again! -- January 5, 2012
Given 77% (breakdown) while driving a Land Rover freelander (225-55-17-V).
Driving on a combination of roads for 5,000 spirited miles
"I inherited a front set of brand new Accelera Alphas when I bought my Freelander 8 months ago and was forced to replace a set of very old rear Michelin tyres of the same tyre type. I'm glad I did because on the Freelander there seems to be little penalty in using a tyre that costs almost a quarter of the recommended Pirellis. The budget tyres are quiet and handle dry weather to the limit of the car. Having travelled through some miserable weather this autumn, I was expecting poor results in the wet but have not witnessed any unusual or unexpected traits and surprisingly they work much better off-road than I've any right to expect from budget tyres! I would definitely buy them again for this car." -- December 30, 2011
